Another Monday has rolled around in our b-e-a-utiful home! (If anyone was home this weekend Bruce Almighty was totally on TV.)
I can't say much has been going on lately... We have two more weeks and two days til we finish with our spring term and then finally we will have our summer. Mikey and I are so excited! We are going to have an awesome break, but we don't have it all planned yet, but that's a great thing about a break because you don't have too!

These are our excited faces: YAY!
So this time last year, Mikey and I were apart and that always makes me think of where we started. Before we were married (Holy cow it's already been 9 months!), and when we were just friends.
This is Mikey and I's first picture EVER together. We owe it to our lovely friend Aly Lee. I don't know why but I think this is so cute, and I'm really happy that I have evidence of this night. Mikey did not romantically like me in anyway at the beginning. But through my charming personality and persistence, he fell hard. :) Right, baby?
This is Mikey's agreeing face.
He can't really answer, because he's being a good student and studying right now. Love you baby!
I really miss my Angie. Ang, if you blog stalk, PLEASE come back to Hawaii. I need you!! :)
Hmm, so what else.. Oh, my amazing, perfect husband bought me roses! He was so sweet, I kidded with him that he had never bought me roses so last Tuesday, I got done with my English midterm and I came home to these:

I am so lucky! Thank you so much darling!
I hope one day I can show Mikey how happy he makes me!
I am in a very reminiscing mood... This is from when Mikey and I were finally reunited in June of last year. The first weekend we were together we drove 7 hours to go to Silverwood in Idaho. Poor Mikey was totally acclimated to Hawaii, he got so sick afterwards.
This picture will be hanging in our house.
I absolutely adore this picture. My hubby is so good looking! This was on the drive up to Silverwood. I was so ecstatic that weekend to be back with Mikey. My world was so incomplete without him and I hate being away from him.
That Sunday, we got back from Silverwood at 8 in the morning. Mikey drove most of the way home, and let me sleep. It was so exhausting, but I couldn't have been more happy to be with my boyfriend, my BFFL.
So after church that day, my parents took us out to take pictures with us. We had SO much fun! I give all credit to the amazing shots to Chris, but my dad gave us the most hilarious direction.
I love my family :)
And then, not long after (8 days to be exact)...

Mikey gave me the best proposal of a life time.
That day, I was super aggravated. I had worked my day job at the deli until after the lunch rush. I was off from my night shift, so Mikey and I planned to go to Boise to see a movie and hang out. Mikey asked me to a picnic right after I got off work and I agreed, but in all honesty I felt very rushed.
A day before Mikey and I had gone down to Boise (a two hour drive mind you) and got my ring size. Mikey also pointed out this ring from Walmart, the $96 one and asked if I liked it. I was sorta disgusted, but I really just wanted to be all Mikey's so I didn't really care what the ring looked like. So he said he had ordered it, and it would be here sometime that week. So I didn't expect him to pop the question anytime soon.
So, Mikey blindfolded me, and drove me somewhere in McCall I could not discern without visuals. And he led me up a hill, and I heard movement (still blindfolded) and I got scared, and asked Mikey what it was and he said it was a deer... but the deer laughed. So I figured wherever we were people were around.

This was the gorgeous view :)
We had a really nice picnic, and then Mikey proposed with a ring pop. Yes, seriously, a ring pop. He thinks he's so funny :). But then, it got kind of serious and he played me our song (Dear Bobbie, By Yellowcard) on the ukulele, and I kind of cried and then he led me down the hill, and asked me to look the other way with something convincing like "So, how many trees do you think are on that mountain over there?" I complied and when I turned around Mikey was on his knee and behind him, in yellow daisies was the question that made my heart jump.
He is so amazing!
Mikey always tells everyone that I sort of fell on him, hugging him, and he kept trying to show me the ring. I really didn't care. It's never been about the ring, just about being married forever. :) The ring he picked was perfect though, and definitely not the $96 walmart ring.
So, that's our proposal story. I'm really glad I got that written down.
I am so glad we're married. This has been the BEST 9 months of my life. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
I think that's probably the most sappiest post ever. Anyways,
Aloha Oi
